And the winner is…Brent and Conor! Phelans boys made the trip down from Saginaw and killed the alternate shot, shooting a net 75. Second goes to Bowker and Nolan, shooting a net 76 and the only team with a birdie on the scorecard for the day. Third place goes to Phelan and his playing partner, Joe Arocho. They shot a net 78. I personally find alt shot one of the hardest forms to play but these guys had it figured out, so big props to you guys. Meanwhile those greens have been haunting me ever since. I played Taylor Meadows and left everything 3 feet short after playing the ice rinks at Eagle Crest.
Not only did Joe get points for his third place finish but he also took over the Course Crown at Fieldstone with an 87, boosting him up to third in the standings. Nolan and Bowker shoot up into the top 10 with their podium finish and DeAngelo gets back into the top 5 with more handicap improvement, already over 2 strokes since the beginning of the year.
