Another event completed and some more big moves were made in the standings.
Nick had himself quite the week…
- Starting on Friday he defeated Brice 4&2 and Will 5&4 at The Myth, getting him to 2-0 in his Group Stage matches.
- Shooting a 76, he also took over the crown for King of the Course
- With just a one shot lead after Saturday at the Youth Classic, he shot a 76 to Amir’s 80 to take the win by 5 strokes and take the trophy as our first Detroit Youth Classic champion
- With one of the biggest jumps in the standings to date, he went from 15th to 3rd
After losing on Friday to Nick, Will was able to rebound for the weekend and earn a spot in the final group on Sunday after a first round 90. While he may not have been fighting for the overall win, he shot an 85 which solidified third place despite a Sunday charge from Billy, who shot a 78.
The handicapped top 3 for the Youth Classic was:
- Will Bass -5
- Nick Ludka +7
- Bill George +13
