In this week’s rankings update, our season 1 winner has finally made a climb up the leaderboard and takes over first place after taking Course Crowns in back to back weeks. This week he conquered the Golden Fox playing with myself, Brice and Gerald. It was a round where it seemed we would all be struggling to break 100 after the first few holes. Luckily, we all straightened the ship and Billy was able to squeak under 90 with an 89. Both of his Course Crown scores are vulnerable though so that first place spot is by no means safe, especially as he is out of town!
Seems the clubs have finally found their way out of the basement for Phelan and Ludka as they each have a round posted on the year. Hopefully there is plenty more to come as they will be Captains of the Coastal Cup this year at Red Hawk Golf Course in Tawas in October.
